Duke lacrosse: Thank you, La Shawn Barber

I was surfing the net this morning and googled "Nifong campaign website"

Here's one of the first hits:

From that one hit a surfer learns of KC Johnson's dissection and the Charlotte Observer's call for a special prosecutor. Terrific!

And so is the post to which "the hit" links.

La Shawn doesn't post often on Duke lacrosse but when she does it's usually major and always well-done.

If you haven't visited La Shawn's blog, you know to use the link above and look around. You'll find a nice mix of sharp, informed commentary, source material, and interesting visuals.

For great blogging: Thank you, La Shawn Barber.

And thank you Google and Internet.

Keep up the good work, John. Perhaps Chapel Hill grads Nifong and Sill think they can wear down you and others. By the way, do you think an anti-Duke bias is a factor in this?

You raise a good point. A lot of the pro-accuser bloggers would argue that Dan Abrams' coverage was biased because he was a Duke alum and no Duke alum could possibly be unbiased. Nevermind the fact that he graduated almost 20 years ago and was about as impartial and objective as anyone could be. By their logic, therefore, Nifong and every other UNC alum should recuse themselves from the case because no Tar Heel could possibly give a Blue Devil a fair hearing.
