Obama has given Chavez exactly what he wanted - a photo opp that he (Chavez) can use to his heart's content.
One does not shake hands with someone who insults you - unless an apology has been proffered. Obama once again demonstrates that he is not sufficiently schooled in the ways of diplomacy.

Supposedly the book that Chavez gave Obama is having sudden huge sales here in the US. Guess that Chavez has figured out that anything having to do with Obama will find a ready market here.
